Tips to involve little Farmers
Why not let your little one create the rim on the Christmas hat by dipping the strawberries into the chocolate and desiccated coconut!
Recipe
-
1
Line a baking tray or plate with greaseproof paper and leave to one side.
-
2
Slice the hull off the top of each strawberry to make a flat base.
-
3
Into a bowl break the Milkybar® into small pieces.
-
4
Carefully fill a small saucepan about a quarter full with hot water, then sit the bowl on top so it rests on the rim of the pan, not touching the water.
-
5
Keeping the water at a temperature barely simmering, stir the chocolate occasionally until melted. Now remove the bowl from the pan. Careful, the bowl will be hot!
-
6
Carefully dip the flat end of the strawberry into the chocolate and then onto the plate of desiccated Coconut. Once the flat end and rim is covered in melted chocolate and coconut, place on the baking sheet.
-
7
Repeat this with all 16 strawberries.
-
8
One by one, dip the half of marshmallow in the chocolate and place on the tip of the strawberry to create the pompom of the Christmas hat.
-
9
Place in fridge for 10 minutes to set.
